Money talks: partnering to solve financial conflict


Client Needs A retailer and its third party logistics provider retained Orion to assess, manage and resolve financial differences that threatened their working relationship. The situation was increasing in severity, approaching the need for legal processes.

Orion Strategies & Client Relationship Orion collected information from both the retailer and the logistics provider, determining which disputes stemmed from incorrect upfront operating assumptions, and which were caused by operating disciplines.

Outcomes Through this partnership, the clients reached a fair agreement, splitting the total cost of the audit. This process later served as a blueprint for determining the following peak season operating strategy.
